a day is compromised by the things that is in my heart.
what is inside.

the shadow that creeps up and forces me into an endless restless sleep.
but then i realize it is not the physical but the mental.
not the outside but the inside.

i keep forgetting that His yoke is easy and His burden light.
i keep forgetting this life is so temporary.
i keep forgetting my looks, clothes, shoes, bags, car, and body will eventually turn into ashes of dust.

that all i will be left is what is inside of me.
where my heart lies will determine my eternity.

my love for Christ and my love for His people.

do you love the temporary or the permanent?

because i keep forgetting to look pass this earthly things.
